SEWA, a.s. is professional, modern and dynamic company, working on a non profit basis, established by obliged persons associated in professional association ADAT (Association of Importers of Audio-visual technology) and ITAS (IT Association of Slovakia) and the company's mission is to ensure the collective fulfillment of obligators´duties for the handling with electrical and electronic equipment and waste from them.
SEWA, a.s. operates a collective scheme of WEEE disposal, (WEEE COLLECTIVE SCHEME), open for all obliged persons according to Waste Act. Participation in the system replaces individual fulfillment of obligator´s duties with all consequences under the Waste Act. Under the contract, SEWA, a.s. assumes all the member´s obligations according to the minded act.
Especially ensuring collection and fulfillment of WEEE recovery and reuse limits with authorized treatment companies. Then it is implementation of WEEE take back system, registration, filing, reporting, statistics and other fulfillment obligations which every obliged person has to fulfill in compliance with public administration bodies, municipal authorities or Recycling Fund – concerning to EEE.
