The eco-educational project for the little ones “We collect used batteries with Šmudlo” continues in 2024.
The project We collect used batteries with Šmudlo is an eco-educational programme for kindergarteners and primary school pupils. During an interactive lecture, children will meet the messy Šmudlo, who will tell them new information about waste.
Kids will also learn how they can dispose of used batteries from their toys in an environmentally friendly way. They will find out why it is important to sort batteries and where to find the right container to take them.
The project “We collect used batteries with Šmudlo” in numbers (2017 – 2024):
- 600 kindergartens and primary schools have joined the project
- almost 173.5 tons of used batteries were collected
- 3 089 hours of education
- almost 72,000 kindergartens and primary school pupils in eco-education
