We recommend you to send this information to your business partners in good time to ensure compliance with the legislative duty to state the recycling fee in a visible manner throughout the entire distribution chain (only applicable to household EEE), with updated pricelists valid from 1 January 2017.
Remember, the retailer must state the recycling fee per item to the end consumer, and this amount must remain unchanged throughout the entire distribution chain. SEWA facilitates compliance with this lawful duty for producers, importers, distributors and retailers by billing recycling fees on a per item basis in the given categories of household electrical and electronic equipment.
